Client reports are sometimes relied upon in legal or civil disputes, it is important that the credibility of the auditor withstands scrutiny and recognised as an expert opinion.
Furthermore, when issues are identified, it is important that any intervention is applied from a basis of experience and knowledge of risk which is rarely obtained from a classroom.
This is a valid concern, however the associates are representatives of the client and generally well received as they are there to ensure the client's requirements and best interests are being met, but also to help the security providers meet the exact requirements of the task. A positive and supportive attitude is key to achieving a good result.
Not always, this depends on the client's wishes, they may be covert and passive therefore remain unnoticed, but on other occasions may be identifiable and 'hands on' inline with the situation.
